Shiner Bock & Woodchuck Cider among brands moving to Schilling
Beginning on April 1st, Schilling Distributing Company, Inc. will be the exclusive distributor of beer brands previously handled by Glazer's in Acadiana. This includes breweries such as The Spoetzl Brewery (Shiner), Vermont Hard Cider (Woodchuck), Rogue Beers, Sapporo and Warsteiner. These brands will be changing hands from Glazer's to Anheuser-Busch distributors all over the state. This deal comes at the same time as Schilling will be introducing New Belgium brands, including Fat Tire Amber Ale, to the state.
The Spoetzl Brewery prides themselves on their handcrafted Bavarian brews in the small town of Shiner, Texas. The history behind every bottle is reflected in the down-and-dirty look and feel. A variety of materials were designed including shadowboxes, brochures, shelf talkers, pint glasses, sandwich boards, mirrors and more. A design direction was also explored for their Shiner 97 Black Lager brew.
